These past 6 weeks working with Rosey have flown by! When we met her, she was struggling to kick her sweet tooth and make time for regular exercise. We figured out a way to keep her inspired, challenged and accountable, all while getting results and not getting in the way of her never-the-same daily schedule.
(Did you miss-out on any of the check-ins? Check them out here: Week 1 - Week 2 - Week 3 - Week 4 - Week 5.)
Here's her final Week 6 Report: (click image to enlarge)
Amy @Feasibly Fit Mom: Ok, this is our favorite part...let's see it!
[Rosey's before and after photos...remember, she chose to remain anonymous, hence the crafty disguise. (It looks like she added a shelf to the "set" since last time, too!)]
Amy @FFM: What's your plan for the next 6 weeks?
My plan for the next 6 weeks is to continue/expand upon what I've been doing for these past 6 weeks. I know I'll have to be more flexible and work harder to stay committed during my 2-1/2 week vacation, but I really don't want to backslide.
I'll probably have to add in more strength training because I'm not sure if I'll be able to get in the same 5 days of aerobic walking, but once I'm back home I'll hop back on my treadmill. And, when I get back, I may be ready to add in something new ... not sure yet what it will be, but I'm sure I'll find something of interest.
Amy @FFM: Have you lost any inches? Do you mind sharing how many?
Yes! I lost 4.25" from my waist and another 1.5" from my hips and 1.5" (combined) upper and lower leg, along with a bit more from my arms. I did have my body fat tested before and after, and I am pleased to have lost nearly 7 lbs. of fat and gained over a pound of muscle, which means my body fat % went down. Obviously, I still have more to go, but I feel like I'm off to a good start.
Amy @FFM: How will you be celebrating your success?
I'm probably going to celebrate my success with a few new clothes, but I have more to go before I'll treat myself to a new wardrobe. What I'd really love to do to celebrate is have a hot fudge sundae, but somehow that just
doesn't seem right, and I know I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I "think" I would, so I'll pass.
Amy @FFM: Any advice for someone who is contemplating a custom training plan at Feasibly Fit Mom? Would you recommend publicly featured on the blog or privately by email?
My advice for someone who is contemplating a custom training from Amy at Feasibly Fit Mom is JUST DO IT... you will be amazed at what you can accomplish! I have surprised myself and most of my family members at how committed I've been. I am convinced that having a custom plan that worked into my schedule rather than my changing to fit the plan worked best for me. I still had the structure I needed, but also had enough flexibility to make it possible to succeed.
I know everyone is different, but holding me accountable and receiving support from blog readers kept me in check and focused, so I am glad that I decided to go public. I'm sure someone who chooses to work on training privately by email will also be successful because you will be accountable to Amy, and she will offer you a lot of support. Trust me, I needed it (and received it) the first week or two until I got into the swing of it and gained confidence that I could do it. Regardless of whether you go public or private, I think the customized program that is put together just for you is the real key. Good luck!
Well, that brings us to the end (beginning!) of another fitness journey! Thanks for joining Rosey and the rest of Feasibly Fit Mom readers as you encouraged her along the way.
We'll be taking a brief break from Shift Fitness Journeys for a while. I'll be focusing on our own family's "shift"...moving away from family and friends for our next adventure in the big city. No final details yet, but we'll be moving within two months...yikes!

I am still accepting clients requesting your own personalized fitness plan. Do you want extra accountability using Twitter, Facebook other social networking tools? Let me know and we'll work together to ensure you have a real good time reaching your health and fitness goals.
