Here comes Angie, halfway through her 6-week journey and with an exciting revelation! Even through the holiday and busy end-of-school activities, she's keeping with the program. I can't tell you how much I look forward to our weekly check-ins. And this week's check-in has to be the best yet!
Read about Angie's journey here (or catch-up on Week 1 and Week 2).
Here's Angie:
Amy @Feasibly Fit Mom: How's it going ~ how do you feel so far?
I feel great.I know I keep saying that but I am really feeling good. (See question 2) With all of the events, etc. that I have going on I have had to rework my plan a couple of days. I am still making sure that I have my days of rest and the day between strength workouts, though.
Amy @FFM: What changes have you noticed?
More energy, more stamina. Also, I saw a friend recently that I hadn't seen for a couple of weeks. She noticed that I look thinner! And just today, my husband commented on how good I look. I am not sure I have lost anything but I do know that I am gaining muscle. My arms are feeling more toned and I can carry my baby for longer periods of time.
Amy @FFM: What fitness element have you noticed the most improvement in? (ie. push-ups, need heavier weights, walk faster, etc.)
O.k., so I am a HUGE dork over this......I am so excited that I can't even stand it.....I RAN on Monday. 3 weeks ago, I would have laughed at you for even mentioning ME running. I am shocked and can't wait to do it again!!
Amy @FFM: How do you keep from getting bored?
I have an MP3 player that I listen to while doing the cardio workouts. I do the strength while watching mindless TV. But honestly, I don't need either of those (in fact, Monday, I didn't listen to the MP3 while I ran!!).
Amy @FFM: What's your favorite healthy snack or meal?
I love fresh veggies and fruits. I try to have some at every meal. My favorite is cucumbers. I know it is not original but I am not too creative with my meals, either!
Way to go! How do you like that? Our gal, Angie, is a runner! Keep it up, Angie. We'll check-in next week. Until then, anyone have a favorite pre- or post-workout snack you'll share in comments? Have a great weekend!
