We're checking in again with Angie on her 6-week fitness journey. She's exercising 5 days/week using a combination of cardio, strength and flexibility exercises I designed especially for her. So far, so Amy @Feasibly Fit Mom: How's it going ~ how do you feel so far?good great! Angie is so inspiring to work with and I look forward to my frequent check-ins with her. You can read her end of Week 1 Check-in here and see her "before" pictures and interview here.
Angie: I feel great! I am loving the workouts. I'm not bored by doing the same thing day in and day out! It's great!!
Amy @FFM: Have you been consistent?
Angie: So far I have only missed one day due to a migraine. This is pretty good for me going into week 3. Usually I get fed up with the workout (usually 7 days/week--and boring workouts at that!) and not seeing results.
Amy @FFM: What do you need the most encouragement with?
Angie: Just encouragement to not step on the scale. Amy forbid me from doing that after the beginning weigh in and it has been so difficult!!! I want to know if there is any changes!!
Amy @FFM: What changes have you noticed?
I tried on a pair of pants that had been previously tight (you know the ones that you can't breathe in, they give you a muffin top and when you stand up the button flies off--lol) well, they actually fit better. Granted I still had the muffin top, but I could breathe for longer than 2 seconds!! Wooohooo! Oh, and the button is still intact.
Amy @FFM: Any tips for fellow exercisers?
Stick with it. Do something fun! If you enjoy the workout, you will continue to do it!
There you have it! Is Angie not incredible? She is motivated, upbeat, enthusiastic and happy about her workouts and results. Wouldn't you be? I love that she has decided to "Step Away From The Scale!"and that she's seeing results and mixing it up!.
Do you have any questions for Angie? Or motivation to keep off the scale? Keep the good vibes coming!
