5 Steps in 10 Days - Day 8
1) Affirmations - repeated (out loud) 5x daily - DONE. Look for a post tomorrow on Affirmations.
- My body is healthy and strong. (this one got me through a marathon, surgery and unmedicated childbirth)
- I rest when I am tired, eat nutritiously when I am hungry and operate at my highest function.
2) Meditation - 5 minutes daily. DONE
3) Evening gratitudes - DONE
4) Avoid refined sugar - DONE. A hearty quinoa bowl for lunch helped fill me up: quinoa, feta, sliced carrots, toasted pepitas and sliced apple with homemade honey lime vinaigrette.
5) Moderate exercise - DONE. Today was h*o*t, 90 degrees, so the family took a walk on the bluffs overlooking the ocean today after dinner. I also did about 5 sun salutations this morning while FitBoy looked on.
